Joseph Meyer, Esq.

Joseph graduated from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. In 2007, after graduating with a B.S. in Accounting, Joseph continued his education at Widener University School of Law where he was admitted under an academic scholarship. During his third year at Widener, Joseph served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan L. Robinson, a federal judge, who sat on the U.S. District Court for the State of Delaware. This prestigious posting offered Joseph the opportunity to draft opinions, review briefs, and conduct legal research. After graduating in 2010, with Cum Laude honors and a Certificate in Evidence, Joseph began the process of preparing, sitting, and passing Bar Examinations for admission to practice.

Joseph began by taking and passing both the Maryland and New Jersey State Bars during the summer of 2010. At the time, Joseph achieved a 171/200 score on the Multistate Bar Examination, which ranked him in the top 2% in the nation. During the winter of 2011, Joseph passed the Pennsylvania State Bar, followed by the Delaware State Bar in the summer of 2012.

In 2013, Joseph Meyer founded The Law Office of Joseph Meyer, LLC which manages all aspects of real estate transactions involving the sale and refinance of residential and commercial properties. In addition to real estate law, Joseph also focuses on estate planning law and business law. In the fall of 2015, Joseph was recognized by the Delaware Business Times (DBT) as one of their distinguished “40 Under 40”. Since then, Joseph grew The Law Office of Joseph Meyer, LLC. He has successfully completed more than 1,000 real estate closings and has assisted countless clients. Joseph lives in New Castle County, Delaware with his wife Sara, their son Max, and their two Siberian Forest cats, Boris and Vladimir.
